Soccer Recap: Swampscott Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gloucester on Monday, Swampscott came back down to earth. The Big Blue took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beverly Panthers on Wednesday. Swampscott were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Beverly apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Swampscott's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Beverly, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swampscott will head out to face off against Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beverly, they will square off against Peabody Veterans Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
