With a playoff win on the line, Central Christian rose to the challenge on Saturday. They took down the Wallace County Wildcats 46-31. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on six straight.

Central Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Wallace County, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9-1.

Looking ahead, Central Christian will square off against Axtell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Axtell will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Central Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Wallace County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
