After a string of five wins, Chatham's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Appomattox County Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.
Alanee Gregory paced Chatham's offense, picking up six kills. Gregory got some help from Avery Norton and her ten assists.
Chatham's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Appomattox County, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
