Baseball Preview: Issaquah Eagles vs. Mount Si Wildcats

The Issaquah Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Mount Si Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.

Issaquah can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 13-5 margin over Garfield. The victory was just what Issaquah needed coming off of a 9-2 loss in their prior game.

Mount Si got a big performance out of Jimmy Pratapas, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Eddie Coons, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Issaquah's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Mount Si, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Everything went Issaquah's way against Mount Si in their previous matchup back in March as Issaquah made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Issaquah since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
