Alden won the last time they faced City Honors and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Centaurs with a sharp 14-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Molly Earsing was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Earsing was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Sawyer Faso was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Lilly Bromstead was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Alden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as City Honors only posted an OBP of .348.

Alden pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.3 runs. As for City Honors, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Alden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for City Honors, they will welcome Da Vinci at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
