Soccer Game Preview: Lancaster vs. Littlerock

The Lancaster Eagles will challenge the Littlerock Lobos at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lancaster has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with nine straight defeats, while Littlerock will come in with five straight wins.

Last Friday, Lancaster didn't have quite enough to beat Quartz Hill and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Littlerock kept a clean sheet against Highland on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Highland from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Adrian Villafranco led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Littlerock's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those six contests. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-2.
