Meanwhile, the Regents posted their closest win since March 4th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saints, sneaking past 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Regents sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jaz Mina and Kiera Watson did most of the damage at the plate: Mina went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Watson scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Mina has posted since back in April of 2024. Kamille Beals was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

The Tigers' victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for the Regents, their record now sits at 9-6.
