Softball Recap: Tullahoma's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Tullahoma managed to slip by Giles County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 15-5 to the Bobcats on Wednesday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Madison Goad stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Norman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Tullahoma's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Giles County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tullahoma is set to take on their familiar foe Central Magnet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Giles County will challenge rival Lawrence County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
