St. Pius X had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt Richmond on Friday. The St. Pius X Warriors blew past the Richmond Spartans, posting a 76-47 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Richmond's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriel Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Johnson's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Quick, who shot 43% from the field en route to 17 points.

St. Pius X's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Richmond, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-4.

Looking ahead, St. Pius X will face off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Richmond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
