Soccer Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss

Jacobs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Crystal Lake Central Tigers. While losing is never fun, Jacobs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Crystal Lake Central are ranked 69th).

Jacobs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Crystal Lake Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-3.

Jacobs has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Hersey on the 4th. As for Crystal Lake Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Prairie Ridge on the 7th.
