Soccer Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss

Jacobs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crystal Lake Central Tigers. While losing is never fun, Jacobs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 245th, while Crystal Lake Central are ranked 59th).

Jacobs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Crystal Lake Central, they pushed their record up to 10-3-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Jacobs will head out to take on Hersey at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crystal Lake Central, they will square off against Prairie Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
