Basketball Recap: Italy Takes a Loss

Italy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the Mildred Eagles 80-53 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gladiators have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Italy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Mildred, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kerens the next time they take the court. Italy will head out to face Kerens at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mildred will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th.
