Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Swett hit Kennedy with a 12-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 13-3 to the Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Swett, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will square off against De Anza at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Swett, they will take on Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
