Baseball Recap: Kathleen Takes a Loss

Kathleen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Gateway Panthers.

MARK SIMPSON made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Dillon Rutherford, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Kathleen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gateway, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14.

Kathleen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gateway, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Innovation on the 15th.
