Fort Zumwalt West waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Waynesville Tigers.

Fort Zumwalt West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Waynesville between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Lyla Steber paced Fort Zumwalt West's offense, picking up ten kills. Steber got some help from Carly Wolff and her 12 assists. Jetta Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fort Zumwalt West's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Waynesville, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6-3.
