Basketball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton lost against Westbrook-Walnut Grove back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Edgerton Flying Dutchmen fell 79-71 to the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers. The Flying Dutchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will head out to take on Hills-Beaver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they will venture away from home to face off against Mountain Lake/Comfrey at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
