Soccer Recap: Shawnee Heights Takes a Loss

Shawnee Heights lost against De Soto back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Wildcats, falling 6-1. One reason for the loss might be Shawnee Heights' aggressive play style: three Shawnee Heights players were handed yellow cards.

Their goal came courtesy of Lailah Benz, who's now up to three this season.

Shawnee Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for De Soto, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
