Softball Recap: Conwell-Egan Catholic Comes Up Short

Conwell-Egan Catholic and North Schuylkill squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Conwell-Egan Catholic had to settle for second. They took a 16-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

Conwell-Egan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for North Schuylkill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Conwell-Egan Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Schuylkill, they will square off against Valley View on Thursday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season.
