Softball Recap: Overhills Sets Scoring Season-High Against Terry Sanford

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overhills). They blew past the Terry Sanford Bulldogs 22-9 on Friday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Julianne Belcher looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

At the plate, Kadence West and Laila Daniel did most of the damage at the plate: West went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI, while Daniel scored three runs and stole Six bases. while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sophia Caston, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5.
