Softball Recap: Freeport Falls Short of Baldwin in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Freeport can now relate to. They lost 11-0 to the Baldwin Indians on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Freeport's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Baldwin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baldwin, they will take on Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
