Clariden entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Varsity Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Clariden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-3.

Clariden's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Clariden will host Westlake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Emmanuel Baptist Academy on the 18th.
