Basketball Recap: Quaker Valley Piles Up the Points Against Richland

Quaker Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Richland Rams 82-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Quakers.

Quaker Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nic Cohen led the charge by putting up 26 points. Zachary Washington was another key player, scoring 22 points.

Quaker Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Quaker Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Farrell at 7:30 p.m. on December 9. As for Richland, they will take on Bedford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
