Soccer Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Center Point Pirates. Even if the Yellowjackets couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saint Mary's Hall at 1:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Center Point also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Holy Cross at 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
