Soccer Recap: Manitou Springs Find Success

Manitou Springs won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Manitou Springs were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Michael Reed, who's now up to three this season.

Manitou Springs' win bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Pueblo Centennial, they dropped their record down to 2-6-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Manitou Springs will host Salida at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salida will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Manitou Springs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pueblo Centennial, they are taking a road trip to take on Pueblo South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
