After a string of six wins, Riverside's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 58-46 to the Bay Yellowjackets. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 76-65.

Riverside's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 14-1 and their overall record down to 23-4. As for Bay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.

Riverside and Bay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Riverside will challenge Marmaduke at 5:00 p.m. on Friday up 127 places (50 vs. 177). Riverside will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Bay (ranked 90th) will meet Buffalo Island Central (ranked 223rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
