Basketball Recap: Gray-New Gloucester Takes a Loss

Gray-New Gloucester lost against Yarmouth on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The game between the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots and the Yarmouth Clippers didn't end well, with the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots falling 50-35. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Clippers are ranked 35th).

Gray-New Gloucester's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Yarmouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

While Gray-New Gloucester had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
