Baseball Recap: Bridgewater-Raritan Takes a Loss

Bridgewater-Raritan was the 5-3 winner over Rancocas Valley when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday.

Matthew Lehberger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Park, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Bridgewater-Raritan's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Rancocas Valley, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgewater-Raritan will host Hunterdon Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rancocas Valley, they will welcome Shawnee at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
