Basketball Game Preview: Springer Red Devils vs. Logan Longhorns

The Springer Red Devils will challenge the Logan Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Springer is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 27th on Thursday. Everything went their way against Wagon Mound as Springer made off with an 80-56 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Logan entered their tilt with Grady on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bronchos 81-49. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Springer's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.

Springer suffered a grim 70-48 defeat to Logan in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Springer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
