Carencro and Breaux Bridge are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Carencro Bears are taking a road trip to face off against the Breaux Bridge Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carencro has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 21.

On Friday, Carencro came up short against Lafayette and fell 8-3.

Carencro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wilson Landry, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Breaux Bridge had just enough and edged out Beau Chene 3-2 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Breaux Bridge now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Carencro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Carencro beat Breaux Bridge 7-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carencro since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
