Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Eisenhower's offense. They came up short against the Piedmont Wildcats on Monday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Piedmont, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
