Football Recap: Bishop Ludden Falls to Jamesville-Dewitt in First Game of Season

Bishop Ludden kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 35-27 to the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Gaelic Knights came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Red Rams are ranked 523rd).

Bishop Ludden and Jamesville-DeWitt will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Gaelic Knights are set to take on their familiar foe Skaneateles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jamesville-DeWitt will square off against rival Oswego at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
