Volleyball Recap: Chiawana Takes a Loss

Chiawana lost against Walla Walla back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Riverhawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 19-25, 25-15.

Chiawana has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Walla Walla, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chiawana will square off against rival Sageview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Walla Walla is set to challenge their familiar foe Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
