Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against South El Monte, falling 19-1. Marshall was not able to make up for their defeat to South El Monte from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for South El Monte, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall is set to face off against their familiar foe Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South El Monte will take on rival Rosemead at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
