Basketball Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

Stone Ridge Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Aubrey Rogers on Thursday. The Stone Ridge Christian Knights fell 57-48 to the Aubrey Rogers Patriots. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Stone Ridge Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marcus Parker posted 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Parker has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daijon ONeil, who had 12 points and six rebounds.

Stone Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Aubrey Rogers, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Stone Ridge Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-60 loss against Riverdale on the 3rd. As for Aubrey Rogers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-57 victory against Highlands Christian on the 3rd.
