Volleyball Recap: Rock Bridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rock Bridge's tournament run continued when they took on Saint Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The Bruins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13.

Aubrie Jo Benney paced Rock Bridge's offense, picking up three kills. Benney got some help from Emery Allen and her ten assists.

Saint Thomas Aquinas can attribute much of their success to Malin Chaput, who had nine digs and three assists.

Rock Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

Coincidentally, Rock Bridge and Saint Thomas Aquinas will both be playing Blue Valley West the next time they take the court. The Bruins will head out to face the Jaguars at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
