Volleyball Recap: Rock Bridge Takes a Loss

Rock Bridge's tournament run continued when they took on Saint Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The Bruins fell 2-0 to the Saints. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13.

Aubrie Jo Benney paced Rock Bridge's offense, picking up three kills. Benney got some help from Emery Allen and her ten assists.

Rock Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Coincidentally, Rock Bridge and Saint Thomas Aquinas will both be playing Blue Valley West the next time they take the court. The Bruins will head out to face the Jaguars at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
