Lower Richland hasn't had much luck against Lewisville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Lewisville Lions at 7:00 p.m.

Lower Richland is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Darlington on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Diamond Hornets couldn't quite close it out.

Everything went their way against Camden Military as Lewisville made off with a 4-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Lions pulled away in the second half with one goal.
