Basketball Recap: Oshkosh North Comes Up Short

Oshkosh North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appleton East Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Patriots are ranked ninth).

Appleton East's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Jazdzewski, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Ambria Fischer, who had nine points.

Oshkosh North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Appleton East, their record is now 16-3.

Oshkosh North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-48 win against Fond du Lac on the 6th. As for Appleton East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-68 victory against Neenah on the 6th.
