Volleyball Recap: Polson Takes Down Ranked Whitefish

Polson faced Whitefish in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Pirates blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won three contests in a row.

Polson was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-17.

Polson now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Whitefish, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Polson will square off against rival Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Whitefish is set to challenge their familiar foe Browning at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
