On Tuesday, the Walden Grove Red Wolves blew past the Poston Butte Broncos, posting a 61-30 victory. The Red Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Walden Grove was led to victory by Maria-Isa Saez Pedraza and Ariana Gamillo. Saez Pedraza went 9 of 18 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Gamillo went 8 of 16 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Amarillas, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Poston Butte lost, don't look at Symirah Gray. Despite the final result, she put up 19 points and six rebounds. The contest was Gray's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Walden Grove is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.7 points. As for Poston Butte, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Walden Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-24 win against Desert View on the 5th. As for Poston Butte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-22 victory against San Luis on the 4th.
