Baseball Game Preview: New Diana Eagles vs. Boyd Yellowjackets

New Diana is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Boyd is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will host the Yellowjackets at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (New Diana 3.2, Boyd 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

New Diana is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Paradise 4-3.

Colt McDowell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.
