Softball Recap: Kempsville Sets Scoring Season-High Against Green Run

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kempsville). They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Green Run Stallions on Wednesday. Considering the Chiefs have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Kempsville and bumps their season record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Green Run, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
