Soccer Recap: Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Takes a Loss

Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Worth Bullfrogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bullfrogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in February.

Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lake Worth, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast will head out to challenge Springtown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Worth, they will head out on the road to square off against Eagle Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth will be up against Eagle Mountain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.88 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
