Volleyball Recap: Sandhills Valley Comes Up Short

Sandhills Valley dropped to 7-20 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of South Loup by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against South Loup this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Sandhills Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Weems had 12 digs and one assist.

As for South Loup, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-21 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 13th.

Among those leading the charge was Charli Pandorf, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 14 contests.

As of now, neither Sandhills Valley nor South Loup have any future games scheduled.
