Basketball Recap: Jonathan Alder Comes Up Short

Jonathan Alder lost against Southeastern Local back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jonathan Alder Pioneers fell 44-36 to the Southeastern Local Trojans. The Pioneers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jonathan Alder's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Southeastern Local, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jonathan Alder will welcome Kenton Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southeastern Local, they will be playing at home against Cedarville at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southeastern Local is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Cedarville a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
