Volleyball Game Preview: Shekinah Christian Flames vs. Northside Christian Lions

Shekinah Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northside Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Flames will face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Shekinah Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

If Granville Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Shekinah Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Eleyna Beachy. The Flames blew past Granville Christian Academy 3-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Beachy, who had nine digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shekinah Christian was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Northside Christian made easy work of Madison Christian on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Northside Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 26-24, 25-23.

Shekinah Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Northside Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.

Everything went Shekinah Christian's way against Northside Christian in their previous meeting back in September, as Shekinah Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flames since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
