Basketball Recap: Graham Takes a Loss

Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Williams Bulldogs 63-17. The Red Devils were probably out for revenge after losing 61-16 to them when the teams met back in January of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jordyn Taylor had an outrageously good game for Williams as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave Taylor a new career-high. Mi'Keina Springfield was another key player, going 5 of 9 on her way to 10 points along with five boards and four steals.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Williams, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Graham will welcome Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williams and Northeast Guilford will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
