Chaparral's season-opener on Monday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and the Rancho Rams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Bryan Galindo and Skander Herrera scored both of Chaparral's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
