Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lakyn Sullivan and Laynee Shay Lead Frontenac to Victory

Frontenac had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Knob Noster Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since October 26, 2024.

Leading Frontenac to victory were Laynee Shay and Lakyn Sullivan. Shay had 14 digs and two aces, while Sullivan had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Sullivan a new career-high.

Frontenac's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Knob Noster, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Frontenac wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lamar on the 6th. As for Knob Noster, they will head out on the road to face off against Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
