Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Blanchet vs. Lincoln

The Bishop Blanchet Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Lincoln Lynx at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Bishop Blanchet didn't have quite enough to beat Lakeside and fell 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Bishop Blanchet came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Lakeside are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln kept a clean sheet against Lakeside on Thursday. They blew past the Lions 5-0. Lincoln have beaten Lakeside the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Lakeside has come to flipping the script.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bishop Blanchet, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-2.
