Baseball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Cascade Bruins

The Everett Seagulls are taking a road trip to challenge the Cascade Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Everett is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Jackson on Tuesday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Seagulls in their meetings with the Timberwolves: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Cascade came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out Sultan 9-7. The Bruins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cascade's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everett skirted past Cascade 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seagulls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
